We have stayed at WildChild several times and love the house and the dock. The only negative is the dishwasher needs replacing. Heat cycle does not work and dishes have to be hand wiped. Other than that the house is a vacation dream and we enjoy our time at St. George Island.

Wild Child
Very clean, nicely decorated, well stocked kitchen. Lovely porch, quiet and peaceful part of the island. The front steps are quite steep, and the landing was very short, had to be very careful when getting near the door to open it. We used the back steps most of the time, they were safer.

Very nice with dock in protected waters
Don't let the rough outside fool you! Very nice inside with updates and very thick, comfortable beds. The dock is great and still close to stores and restaurants. One in our party left behind his I Watch. The housekeeper, Robin, found it and returned it....impressive.

Peaceful and Comfortable with everything we could need
This was the first time we've rented from Collin's in St. George Island. We LOVED Wild Child! The house was very well laid out and clean! Loved cooking in the well equipped kitchen and relaxing in the screened in porch on the porch swing listening to the birds! Our dog, Max was instantly at home! We walked the short walk to the beach daily, and enjoyed fishing mullet off of our dock as well. The beds are all very comfortable. The owners of this place definitely know how to make you feel 'at home'! If you are looking for peace and quiet, try the bay side/canal and enjoy some time at Wild Child!

Great place to stay on the water!
We brought our 22' bay boat with us and it was great to have it tied up to the dock, ready to fish! House was very nice and updated. Quick golf cart or bike ride to restaurants and beach. We would definitely stay again!

Great house
We loved staying in this bayside house! It had everything our family of 4 needed and was beautifully decorated and well stocked. The kids loved the upstairs loft area to sleep with its own ac unit so it was very cool. My husband enjoyed the dock every morning fishing and it was a perfect retreat for our family.

Beautiful and peaceful retreat!
Our family had a wonderful time at Wild-Child! We always do. The house is beautifully appointed and it is sooo peaceful and quiet on the bayside. We saw majestic bald eagles in trees right next to the house which was incredible! We enjoyed siting on the porch swing on the screened-in porch every day. We had our boat docked right there at the house and went for frequent boat outings to go fishing or take sunset cruises in the bay. Wonderful and relaxing retreat for us all.
