Wonderful stay!
The Lazy Dolphinn is comfortable, clean, and well stocked. It has a very relaxing ambience with great porches and nature all around. The walk to the beach was easy and we love staying in the Plantation. We would definitely rent again!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

LOVE THE LAZY DOLPH-INN!
The Lazy Dolph-Inn was a great vacation home for our family of 4 (plus we had 2 guests a few nights). The master bed & bath were spacious, a second bedroom had two bunk beds, & a third bedroom had a comfy queen bed with a large closet. Everything was there for us (beach towels, extra bed linens, beach cart, umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys, laundry detergent, etc). We only had to buy groceries & extra toilet paper. The screened porches were so nice to have coffee in the mornings & listen to the ocean waves. We didn’t have a big open view of the beach, as the house is tucked away in the beautiful SGI vegetation & trees, but we could still hear the sounds. We brought our 8 month old Weimaraner, & they even had food/water bowls and a ball for him! I highly recommend the Plantation end of SGI & The Lazy Dolph-Inn is a GREAT place to stay!

Heavenly
We enjoyed one week of bliss. The Lazy Dolph-Inn is a wonderful home to kick down and just relax. We wanted for nothing. Aside from being impeccably clean and extremely comfortable for living, so many extras were included. Whether it be soap for the washing machine or plenty of beach paraphernalia, we had all we needed. The home defines peaceful and tranquil. There is plenty of space to enjoy vistas or comfortably entertain. Everything was in good working order, and being sited in the Plantation section offers extra perks that are extra incentives to choose such a lovely home. We certainly would choose this home again and recommend highly.

The house overall was fine. Distance from the beach was great. Only problem was location of the laundry room(you have to leave the house to get to the laundry room), the bedroom floor extra bathroom shower did not work and the trash from the prior tenants never got picked up nor did our trash get picked up all week. Otherwise we enjoyed the screened in porch and the beds were comfortable.

IDYLLIC LAZY DOLPH-INN
We stayed for one week at The Lazy Dolph-Inn after doing much research on available homes, and discussing options with our Collins representative (Jackie Langford, who was nothing short of spectacular). The home is a comfortable, well designed and equipped vacation paradise. Anything we needed was available, and while standard rental agreements do not include various items, that was not the case at The Lazy Dolph-Inn. For example, there were ample supplies of beach towels and other beach paraphernalia including a buggy to transport items to the beach which is a very short walking distance. Overall, the design of the home is functional and tastefully decorated - extremely comfortable, conducive to a relax, kick down philosophy, which is exactly what we did. Furnishings are absolutely comfortable, tasteful and clean, as well as everything being up to date as either new or refreshed. The property, being located in Plantation, has access to those amenities as well, which nicely complement what the house has to offer. We particularly enjoyed the ample screened in porches, and while not screened in, the Captain's Watch on the the upper level became the favored haunt to read, gaze and contemplate the Gulf and surroundings which are populated with lush vegetation and long needle pines. In planning for future visits to SGI, we would certainly look to to book again at The Lazy Dolph-Inn as it earned a special place in our hearts.
