Great location. Needed some repairs on outside of house and on the porches. Need updates on shower heads and some new mattresses. We as a family enjoyed our stay will be back.

Great House
This was a great house, everything we could have needed was there. Shaded pool was a great place to hang out. Beach was a short walk on a nice path. This was one of the best houses we have stayed in.

Perfect family home!
Our family of 12 ( 6 adults,6 kids) came to St George for a family wedding. This home was just perfect! Large screened in porches for dining, great gathering spaces and bedrooms. The kitchen was the best equipped we have ever had in a rental! Plenty of silverware, dishes, glasses large pot sand appliances! I know that might seem like a common thing but it really isn’t and we greatly appreciated it! Kids loved the pool especially since the beach was crazy windy. Convenient to beach and could see ocean as we ate o. The porch. Thank you for sharing your bea home with us! Hope to book it again!

Great location, well-stocked
Had a great week, rental was clean and comfy. Best part was the proximity to the beach. Only suggestions would be heat for the pool and a larger water heater as our group had to take some cold showers.

A Hidden Gem
We loved our stay at Sooner The Better! The house was a great size for our family, had a great dining/family gathering area, and the shaded pool area was a huge hit with both the kids and adults! We loved the privacy of the cul-de-sac this property provided as well as the perfect proximity to the beach access. The beach was quiet, peaceful, uncrowded, and everyone was so friendly. The only reason I didn’t give this a full five stars is that some areas of the property could use a little tlc. Updating the doorknobs so there are working locks, updating shower faucets and fixtures, replacing the fridge to provide plenty of ice and filtered water, replacing some of the couches, and deep cleaning the screened porches & outdoor furniture would make this a 5 star house. Either way, we still had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend anyone visit Sooner the Better!

Sooner the better
This was our 3rd year at the property, while there were some deficiencies, overall we love the place and will return in2026. In 2025 we are doing a special family trip to Banff. The fridge died, but was replaced the next day. The internet is totally horrible and unreliable. No cell or internet service by my provider however my son had reasonable service by Verizon.

Sooner the Better
My group of teacher friends and our spouses had a wonderful fall break at Sooner the Better! The house has larger common areas, three porches, and the bedrooms that are mostly spread out where we didn't get in each others way. The beach was a short walk away, but you can hear and see the Gulf from the front porches. It was very nice to have a pool to lounge around too! The Island had everything we needed! Great place to stay!!

Absolutely Love Sooner the Better!
We checked into Sooner the Better yesterday. I spoke with you back in Feb. And booked after I saw your post on fb. I just wanted to tell you that we absolutely love your place. We have stayed at several places over the years at SGI and I think we finally found our forever rental with your place. Going to book next year while we are here! Your place is beautiful and you can tell you put a lot into it. My mother joined us and she has two vacation rentals on VRBO and is also impressed with the place. Thanks for sharing your home with strangers! We love it!

Perfect home all on one level.
Sooner the Better is perfect first tier location with quick beach access. Living/dining/kitchen and 4 Bed/ Bath on main level is perfect for small family or group of friends. There is an upstairs master that is very cozy, too. Lovely decor, well stocked kitchen, and beautiful sitting porches. This house checked all the boxes for my February stay. Highly recommend.

Sooner the Better
Terrific beach house stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Perfect for our family of 6, plenty of room and well kept and clean. Really terrific for our dogs, its hard to find a great beach house rental that takes dogs and this one was perfect. Great to have the lovely pool. The view and location to the beach is just great. Loved our stay and will be back.
