Pot o’ Gold — Perfect Stay…Great View
In our thirty years of visiting SGI, This is probably the best stocked house we have ever enjoyed. Owner went above and beyond. Every small appliance you could want. Clean and well organized. Fenced backyard for the dogs! Very thoughtful preparation for guests. Highly recommend…you will enjoy the great view and very short walk to the beach.

Favorite
This was our favorite house! I loved it was pet ready. Our fur baby enjoyed the yard and he loved having crate just like home. We had a couple of problems but they were resolved quickly.

Pot o’ Gold

Best Beach House on St. George Island!
This is really the best beach house on St. George Island! This house has everything you need for a great vacation with friends or family. You will love the large screen porch that offers gorgeous views of the ocean and plenty of comfy seating for reading or napping. The house is tastefully decorated and perfectly laid out with a bedroom on each end with super comfortable beds. The big kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans you could need and everything is labeled to make it easy to find. We enjoyed the keurig for making our coffee each morning. My family and I enjoyed the great sectional sofa for watching movies. The big coffee table is perfect for puzzles or game nights. We walked across the street to the beach every single day of our stay and never found it to be very crowded. You have to love that! The fenced in yard is great if you have a pet. We did not get to use the fire pit out back but we did enjoy a couple of meals at the picnic table down below. It's shaded and breezy down there! The Pot O Gold has won us over with its cool beach house vibes, super comfy beds, the giant well stocked kitchen and that awesome screened porch at the front of the house! We can't imagine staying anywhere else when we return to St. George Island!

A True Pot of Gold
An amazing 2 bedroom, 2 bath vacation gem with everything you’ll need to have a perfect St. George get away. Well stocked, clean and just the perfect view directly across the street from the beach access. The new backyard upgrades are amazing. Also, added a fence so kiddos and furry friends can play without worries of running off. Hope to rent again in the near future.

Will be back!
pot o’ gold was a lovely, charming cottage with exceptional golf views from the screened in balcony. The dog friendly rental includes a fenced in yard and poop station. We enjoyed the outdoor grill and had s’mores at the fire pit. The interior was perfect for accommodating six people. The house was well stocked and offered a classy beach decor. so looking forward to returning next year.

Fabulous Home
This was our second time staying at Pot of Gold. We have been coming to SGI for many years. The location to the beach is so easy walking across the street to the path. The house is so well stocked that you don't worry about something you might not have brought. The fenced back yard was new this time and we absolutely loved. There are even doggie bags to pickup the droppings. The owners have really been very thoughtful about the comfort of their guests. Can't wait to come back.

Wonderful Place
This was our second stay at the Pot o' Gold. The house is spacious, comfortable. The kitchen is fabulously equipped and it was hard to resist the temptation to cook up as storm... but we managed to control ourselves and ate mostly out. The location is also quite lovely, with a close view of the water without being right on its edge. It would have been good to have a sheet explaining what items can and cannot be recycled. The rules are different in different places, and we would have loved to know what was the right thing to do. We are looking forward to our third stay next yeat!

Wonderful
Cozy yet roomy, very tidy and well furnished, wonderful screened porch, excellent appliances, a 60 second walk to the beach which was never crowded. If the place had a pool it would be perfection. Only very minor flaw was the tiny size of the outdoor grill. But the five star rating stands, we were quite delighted with our stay.
