Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at the beach. Cheerful and homey, Key Lime Time was just right for our family of four. The easy access to the boardwalk just across the path made beach days so enjoyable. The kids loved having the pool just a couple blocks away. The house was cozy. Everyone enjoyed movie nights in the comfy living room. The screened in deck below was so helpful and we enjoyed stargazing from the deck.

The place to stay!

We just returned from a fantastic week on St. George Island, our family's favorite beach for eighteen years now. Everything about the week was perfect, including our home away from home, Key Lime Time. The minute we walked through the door, we were reminded why we returned for a fourth time. The bright colors create a sunny, beachy feel while the comfy furniture and decor create an atmosphere of warmth and coziness. Thanks to the bunk beds and sleeper sofa, the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home has accommodated our family of six plus two grandparents on multiple occasions. For this trip, we added one of the canine members of our family, and she seemed to love it as much as the rest of us. Key Lime Time is a first-tier home, but we still enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck, listening to the waves, and enjoying a good ocean view. Since the driveway practically ends where the boardwalk out to the beach begins, it was an easy trip on those mornings when we wanted to enjoy the peacefulness of the uninhabited beach. We love the location! Whether you're looking for a quiet getaway to rest and relax or a fun family vacation frolicking in the waves, St. George is the place to go, and Key Lime Time is the place to stay. Our family is already thinking about our next visit.

Amazing VACATION!

As a mom of two little ones (ages 3 and 6), planning a vacation that truly allows me to relax while keeping the kids happy and safe is no easy task — but Key Lime Times on St. George Island exceeded expectation!

The house was clean, beautifully decorated in coastal charm.

The layout was perfect — spacious and open, but with cozy corners for everyone to unwind. The kitchen had everything I needed to prep easy family meals, and the big dining table was perfect for our family game nights.

Let’s talk about the outdoor space. The community pool was a HUGE hit with our kids, and we loved that it was fully fenced and safe. There were comfy loungers and shaded areas for us to relax and the outdoor shower made post-beach clean-up a breeze.

Beach access was just a short, easy stroll, and the sand was soft, the water clear, and it never felt crowded as the home is located in a gated community. St. George Island is truly a hidden gem — no high-rises, just stunning nature and peaceful vibes. We saw dolphins from the shore and collected more shells than we could carry.

At night, we watched sunsets from the porch rocking chairs and counted stars (there are so many here — no light pollution!). The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly, and we felt totally safe letting the kids ride scooters on the path out front.

The hosts were absolutely wonderful — thoughtful, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure our stay was perfect.

Bottom line: Key Lime Times gave our family the beach vacation we dreamed of — safe, fun, relaxing, and filled with special memories. We have been here three times and plan to return every summer. If you’re looking for a hassle-free stay with or without kids this is the place. We’re already counting down the days until we can return!

Key Lime Time stay
Met expectations. Key Lime Time is clean, well supplied and in a great location. Even though it’s a first tier house the views of the gulf are very good and a constant reminder of why you’re staying on SGI. The house is not setup as totally elderly friendly. Low toilets and tub showers with no grab bars are a drawback. Also, the master bath shower rod was not secured and presented some challenges.

Best family vacation
Key lime time had everything we needed for a wonderful family time together. The master bed is comfortable and room is spacious. For family meals together, anything we needed was in a cabinet. The living room is comfortable for us all. Close distance to the community pool. Close to the boardwalk for beach times and a Fantastic outdoor shower under the house. We have stayed many times at Key lime time and the whole family can't wait until our next time together at Key lime time!
