We love Folie A' Deux
We have stayed at Folie A' Deux four times over the last 6 years It is such a GREAT location being right next to the Plantation pool and tennis courts and it is such a roomy and comfortable home. I wish this home was mine!

Perfect location aside from one squeaky mattress and minor miscommunication.
Folie A’ Deux is a perfect home in almost every way, but is in need of a a new mattress or boxspring in one of the master bedrooms (super squeaky with every small reposition). The home itself was very clean and Collins accommodated an early check in. They accidentally sent a wireless entry code, and when the keypad couldn’t be found, we called the office and they apologized for the miscommunication but asked us to come to the rental office (which we passed 10 mins before arriving to the house.) I think they should have brought us the key instead! Anyways, the home was super clean and it was a perfect set up with two masters on the main floor. The home was also just repainted inside and out. The porches are beautiful, including the screened in porch off the master. The home is a REALLY quick and easy 3 min to the beach sand. Beautiful beach views can be seen from every level of the house, it’s almost as good as beachfront. The proximity to the pool is also very convenient. The home has all the kitchen utensils we needed. The coffee pot could use an upgrade, but works sufficiently. Although I was not aware prior to booking, the closet in one of the masters contained a lot of useful things for guests like a high chair, baby gate, iron, extra pillows, etc. Aside from the very squeaky bed, this house was perfect for our crew.

Folie A' Deux
Our second time of this rental and like the first we had a great time. This is a wonderful vacation home and we are planning to come back next year. One suggestion, in the west first floor shower please install a hand held shower head. Thank you

What a great time!!
My wife and I spent a wonderful week at Folie A'Deux with another couple. Each couple had master bedrooms with king beds on the main floor which gave us great accommodations. The upstairs bedrooms have a queen bed and two sets of bunk beds which would accommodate two families with kids, everyone having their own space. The house has a great presentation, very comfortable living room and a great kitchen for in-house meals. When I first stepped in, it said “comfortable, come and relax.” One of the house’s best features is the “widow’s walk,” a magnificent observation platform on the roof. My wife went up there one morning and witnessed a spectacular sunrise. The beach is terrific, white sand, dunes, mild surf, and sea shells everywhere. It’s a three minute walk from the house, and when we were there in March it was essentially vacant. Just miles of open white sand. Right next door is the association office which includes a fitness room, a pool, and tennis courts, great for some recreational fun (and working off the spectacular meals!). The nearby restaurants we visited were great, seafood being an obvious staple. The best restaurant we enjoyed was the Edward Ball Dining Room at the Lodge at Wakulla Springs. Amazing shrimp and grits, fried chicken and tiramisu. The boat ride at Wakulla Springs is also a must. The park rangers give a great presentation of the environment, wildlife, and history of the springs, which happens to be the largest spring on the continent (600,000 gallons per minute!). The park was also the set for Tarzan movies and Creature From The Black Lagoon, fun stories from the past. So many good things to say about Folie A'Deux, it’s location on St George Island, the small town with coffee shops, small grocery, donut shop (!), and the lighthouse. And most of all, the quiet lifestyle of the island. We had a fabulous time and highly recommend Folie A'Deux.

Wonderful stay

Great stay!!
Loved the location! Conveniently located next to one of the Plantation pools and easy beach access! House is spacious! Loved that every bedroom has a bathroom!

Highly recommend
We would highly recommend staying at Folie A'Deux. Great location being right next to the clubhouse and pool. And right across from the beach. There is plenty of space for sleeping and socializing. The only slight negative was that there weren't any beach toys, chairs, etc. So plan and pack your own.
