Home was well furnished and kitchen was stocked well. The steps going to the gazebo had soft spots but they were large enough you could easily avoid them. Pool area was fabulous and even in a 25+ mph wind day we had a soft breeze. Location was excellent for us and easy walk to the beach. The path through the woods had standing water and was unusable but it it’s Spring. Fish cleaning are was very nice as was the private sitting area under the other side. We did not feel like we were in a rental and it was tastefully decorated and made us feel at home. We will be back again for sure!

Fabulous Stay!
We had an amazing week in Bird Watcher! The house was comfortable, and it had everything we needed. We also loved the amenities from Xplorie. We look forward to our next vacation on the island.

Snowbird Paradise
The Birdwatcher House was perfect for us northern snowbirds seeking a retreat from the cold winters of Ohio! Such a comfy and cozy house! Well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our month away from home. Comfortable beds, excellent water pressure, cute little gatherings areas all over the entire property. The short walk to the beach on the nature trail was so convenient and quaint. It truly has the feel of being in a very elevated tree house. Collins staff members were super responsive and attentive to any needs we had during our stay. You can’t go wrong with this rental!

Great Vacation!

Absolutely Perfect!
This was a great house, and it had everything that we needed. We absolutely loved the pool. I love that it was private and secluded, and it was a short walk to the beach. Very pleasant stay, and I would love to go back. A+++++

We absolutely loved Birdwatcher. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. Our granddaughter was in love with the pool!! Thank you so much for letting us spend our week in this beautiful home. Birdwatcher
Birdwatcher was nice but interior was a bit outdated. Beds were comfortable and our family had plenty of room. Pool was very nice and we all enjoyed it.

Coming back after 20 years
Our return to Birdwatcher - the first property we rented at SGI - after 20 years was perhaps our favorite. The things that made it special then are still here - the big room/kitchen, the views of trees with birds, even the little swing under the deck! Adding the Tiki-themed pool deck and refreshing the kitchen/flooring/decor really made it worthwhile. Sure, we had ask for some common kitchen items, but if that’s all, it was a great stay!
