Jacuzzi is amazing!

Collins is Great!
We had a wonderful time for our first St. George Island vacation. Collins was so great to work with. We did not have any issues. We will be back.

Collins responsive when needed
After check in we needed some help with the elevator. A quick call to the maintenance number and someone came out immediately to help us get it to work. And Collins even called to check post work that everything was working. I prefer a local management company because of unexpected problems away from home. The property, 1 Beach Memory, was very well stocked with kitchen equipment and the kids ages 4,6,9 years old loved their bunk room. I didn’t thick we would use the pool table except to store stuff but due to weather conditions it was an unexpected useful amenity. The king bed mattresses were hard in our opinions. The 3rd floor screened in deck was welcoming in the evening to play family card games. We loved having 2 refrigerators and the large dining / food prep table.

Fabulous Time!

Another great stay at 1 Beach Memory!
Just got back--this was the second time we've rented 1 Beach Memory, and it was perfect--just like it was the first time. Pool table in the middle of the living room, a nice hot tub, an elevator, all right on a beautiful, and quiet beach--what more could you want!

Wonderful Vacation
We had a wonderful vacation at 1 Beach Memory! We loved the privacy the gulf front house provided on the eastern part of the island. The sand is not quite as white as the panhandle beaches, and the water was not quite as clear. BUT, the prices were dramatically different, too. We will be back for sure now that we have discovered St. George Island an 1 Beach Memory!

Outside Living Area makes this house Amazing!

The outside living area of the house makes it amazing! The miltiple decks including a screened in porch, covered deck with hot tub, and sunning deck gave everyone options! The beach view from this house is breathtaking- pictures don't do it justice. And the beach space is amazing! We felt like we had the beach to ourselves! The house is located on the east end of the island and it has a shared entry driveway with three other homes and no public beach access. The living area of this house is very nice with comfy couches, a pool table and a HUGE kitchen table. The extra fridge/freezer off the kitchen was great to keep all out drinks in and freeze all the fish we caught on a charter. Negatives: the stairs (they are steeo and winding) however there is an outside elevator available for use (but we were there during part of Tropical Storm Claudette and we did not feel comfortable using it due to the wind but it was useful for using it more like a freight elevator to carry things up/down for us), no lockable storage for our beach gear/fishing gear (we did store most of it in the large outdoor shower area and given the privacy of our area we didn't worry too much about theft), the doors were drafty (no tight seal even when locked) so at times it took awhile for the a/c to really cool the house down and get rid of the humidity, and it would have been nice to have some rugs by all entryways to help with sand (even though we would rinse our feet off when coming in from the beach you're still tracking a lot of sand in). The negatives of this rental are very minor and don't take away from the 5 star rating at all (I oly include them because when searching for rentals I like to know as much as possible - the good and the bad). The beach near this house, the privacy of the rental, and the multiple decks make 1 Beach Memory a 5/5! Thanksgiving at 1 Beach Memory

1 Beach Memory was a week full of FUN for our family at Thanksgiving! The beach view and frontage make it a great seup for families! Our children, ages 10 and 13, especially loved the pool table at night! I only caution people with limited mobility as the steps are incredibly steep and odd-shapped. It could be very easy to fall for someone with mobility issus. Overall an AWESOME stay and we LOVED their stocked kitchen, views and open floor plan! Loved the house, loved Collin's for taking care of us even more...
Rather than review the house, which was outstanding and absolutely as advertised, I want to shout out to the good people at Collins for their excellent customer service. Suffice to say we had an unusual concern with our original booked property that was not able to be resolved in time for our vacation, the Collin's reservation team supported us and long story short we ended up at an even nicer property. I'll spare details other than to say that had we used an 'owner' based rental system I highly doubt we would have received a satisfactory resolution, I don't imagine many individual owners would have had the means. I really want to thank the reservation staff and their manager by name, but it may not be appropriate so I'll just say over the years you all have earned my loyalty, and that of my friends and family... it's not always me who books the place but it is always me suggesting that we use Collins. Please know you made an old couple very happy on a very special vacation, thank you :)
