Moore Haven

We love Moore Haven!
This was at least the third time we've rented Moore Haven, and we always love it! We love the multiple sliding doors across the front of the house, and we love the tall deck furniture, perfect for having meals or cocktails and looking out over the gorgeous beach and Gulf. It's a perfect beach house: light and airy and not overly fancy, very functional and comfortable, well stocked kitchen. Can't wait to go back again, hopefully as soon as possible!

Conservationist
Although, we were not satisfied with the first home we had reserved, we were very happy and satisfied with Moore Haven and would certainly stay there again. It is a great beach house and is lovely inside and outside!

Moore Haven
We just returned home today from the second year for our family enjoying the week at Moore Haven. We had a blast and I plan to book it for next year!! I really like the no hassle check in and check out and especially the texts before we arrived advising us the house was ready ahead of schedule.

Casual and Comfortable
Comfortable, spacious and informal home helps you feel at ease. Enjoyed the niche with computer desk by the window and two master suites both facing the beachfront, with two more bedrooms and a bath on the street side. Open plan kitchen and living room make things easy...watch out...the big couch may catch you for a cat nap! You have a great view of the beach at all times of the day, in all weather, from the comfortable table and chairs on the deck. Brew that first cup of coffee in time to watch the sunrise every day over the gulf! We visit in early winter and are never bored on beautiful Saint George Island, with trips to Apalachicola and other sights along the coast.

We had a blast!!!
Our family has chosen Moorehaven each summer for the past few years. The new mattresses in two of the bedrooms were a great addition by the owners who promptly responded to our last years review that added greatly to our comfort this visit. During our stay we contacted Collin’s maintenance twice and were very impressed by their prompt response. The second request resulted in a response of less than 30 minutes which was awesome!! A true testament to how much we enjoy this house and our stay is that while driving across the bridge as we left this morning is that we booked Moore haven by phone for a week next summer during June of 2026.

Nice, But needs a little work
Family of 9 and the house easily large enough to accommodate. Nice location with plenty of parking. Kitchen well equipped but out dated and most every thing you need is there. Toliet seat was completely detached when we arrived but a quick phone call and it was repaired within a couple of hours. Ceiling fan/light was not working but they had an electrician out the next morning and it was repaired. Light bulbs out in many locations, remote with dead batteries. Had to relocate light bulbs to different rooms but we made it work. Deck is in need of minor repairs. Nails heads sticking up, but a hammer and 30 minutes and that can be easily corrected. Watch bare feet on deck. Refrigerator needs to be replaced. The seal around the door does not make contact so items were not very cold in the refrigerator. I would also suggest a Keurig. Overall, we liked the house. Worth the money. Nice view from the house/deck with quick easy access to the beach. House was very clean on arrival and check in was allowed 5 hours early. Text message notifications was a plus. Simple check in and check out.
