About Christmas Carol Apalachicola
The Panhandle Players are Apalachicola’s community theatre troupe, performing at the historic Chapman Theatre on Avenue E. Their holiday production of A Christmas Carol is the classic Dickens story — Scrooge, the ghosts, and Tiny Tim — staged as a hometown Christmas tradition. It pairs naturally with the rest of the coast’s December calendar: catch the show one evening, the boat parades and holiday markets on the surrounding weekends.
Showtimes & tickets
Evening performances run 7–9 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Dec 10–12). A fourth performance is scheduled for Sunday, Dec 13 — the time wasn’t posted yet at last check, so confirm on the Panhandle Players site before you go. Ticket prices weren’t published either; the troupe sells direct through their site and at (850) 323-2455.
Where to stay for the show
Make it a holiday weekend on the coast. A Collins Vacation Rental on SGI puts you about 20 minutes from Chapman Theatre in Apalachicola — Christmas lights on the island, the show on the mainland, beach mornings in between. Book direct with the local island team.
