Loved Salty Landing
We have been coming to SGI for over 21 years. Our children are now young adults and still love to visit SGI. We have been staying on the East End for the past 10 years and decided to try Salty Landing on the West End. We absolutely loved the house and the distance to the beach. The pool is a nice sized pool for a vacation home. We only needed to use 3 of the 4 bedrooms due to the size of our family, however, they were all nice sized and equipped with beautiful furniture and decor. Loved having the extra 4th bathroom right off from the living room for easy access, as well. We only have one complaint and “wish” for the home. The mattresses in the bedrooms are way too soft and the one mattress in the bedroom with the bathroom with double sinks makes so much noise just when sitting down on the right side of the bed. If you will get new mattresses, I can see us making this our forever rental.

Winter at The Beach
Have already reserved our next winter stay next February. If you like your own private place on the beach just steps from your door, this is it. House is very well-stocked and maintenance came promptly to address any issues we reported in need of repair. It is newer construction so it's in good condition and a high quality home. Provided Beach towels is an added plus. Our family's only wish is for new mattresses (they are all very soft and problematic for our old backs and hips) and for a comfortable & cushioned seating group on the covered porch as that is our favorite spot to congregate every day. Otherwise, the house is wonderfully furnished and a nice floorplan. It will not disappoint !!

Salty Landing
Very pleased with this rental. Clean, well stocked and great location. The only suggestion I have is there needs to be some type of rail/bar to hold onto to step in or out of pool. Hard to enter or exit for older renters.

Best beach vacation ever!
The house we rented, Salty Landing, was perfect! We enjoyed everything about it and St George's island. This is our second year renting from Collins, will never rent from anyone else on SGI. Thanks for all you do.

Just Perfect!
We enjoyed our stay at Salty Landing. The house is clean, well appointed and spacious. A bathroom for each bedroom was wonderful. All rooms on the same level is perfect. The private pool is a definite plus. The large lanai was enjoyed by everyone. We spent a lot of time there due to a lot of rain during our stay. I will definitely check the availability of Salty Landing first for future trips. It was 'just perfect!'

Fantastic Property and Collins was Great
Salty Landing was a beautiful property and had a gorgeous view of the beach and gulf. We loved everything about it. The home was comfortable and beautifully decorated. It also had everything we needed. The only negative (for our aging group) was there were no grab bars in the showers and there was not a rail going into the pool. Other than that, it was great. In addition, Collins Vacation Rentals was wonderful to work with. They were helpful when we had questions and prompt when we had a service issue with the AC, even offering a refund for the night it went out. A HVAC service person was there first thing the next morning. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our Favorite Place
Right on the Beach with Private Boardwalk, Wonderful Covered Deck, Well-Stocked Kitchen, Pool. and just a few blocks from Grocery Stores and Restaurants. Each Bedroom has a Large TV, Bathroom, and Nice Linens. Living/Dining Area is a bit small for large # of people (more than 4), but quite comfy and well-furnished. Kitchen has all you will need for cooking & dining, and only lacks ample basic supplies such as coffee filters, trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, and TP. Plenty of Nice Comfy Beach towels! Only complaints are the 20 steps to get yourself and your stuff up into the house, and all the beds are extremely soft so not suited for everyone. We Already have our future Reservations Made!

Love St. George!
We've visited St. George Island many times, and this was our third stay in Salty Landing. This home is perfect for our family which now includes two grandchildren. We love the pool and beach views from the porch! Our one suggestion is that the mattresses could use an upgrade. The beds are too soft and creak with every movement. We look forward to our next visit.
