This home boasts all the comforts of home with rich hardwood floors and thoughtfully appointed furnishings and accessories throughout. A recent addition to this home is the installation of a wonderful elevator that services all floors; from ground level all the way up to the second floor! A tremendous amenity for easy off-loading of groceries and luggage. The first level boasts 2 charming bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. A very comfortable living area sits between each bedroom, perfectly appointed for the kids to play games or watch movies on the satellite HDTV. Both bedrooms and living area on this level have wonderful gulf views and access to a large covered porch with comfortable seating. Stairs off this porch lead to the ground level area and short path to the bike path and beach boardwalk. The Master bedroom and bath are located on the top level along with the open living, dining and kitchen areas. The kitchen has been completely renovated in 2016 with beautiful upgrades; including new cabinets, stainless steel appliances and gorgeous granite countertops. The open concept is perfect for those large family gatherings. There is an extensive covered porch off of the living room, appointed with rockers and an outdoor dining table and chairs. A roomy sundeck off the Master bedroom is staged with a very inviting hammock, perfect for those lazy afternoon naps. The large ground level entry, better known as the sand room foyer doubles as the perfect air conditioned pet run, with a secure gated area for your dogs. A high chair and port-a-crib are available to the home for the little ones. This home has it all to make your vacation perfect. Don't miss out on one of St. George Island's hidden gems!

Perfect Getaway
This was the third time we've stayed at Beachwalker Cottage, and it has yet to disappoint. The recent upgrades are fantastic. The house is extremely comfortable and you can't beat the location. Beautiful Property
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit with our family and their friends and our 2 dogs. It was perfect for our vacation. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked incredibly well. Great vacation spot
This house has an awesome view of the water from either porch. It sits at the end of a street so the location is private and very quiet. You walk across the street to the beach making it very convenient. The house is well laid out with each bedroom having its own bath for privacy. The kitchen is well equipped with whatever you need. Almost 5 stars
Things we liked: This home is laid out well. It has ample space for lots of people. There's lots of covered outdoor space. Furniture was cozy. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor shower. Grill. Covered parking under the house. Things that need improvement: Home is showing it's age. Needs better maintenance...loose doorknobs, dishwasher needing cleaning, ice maker struggling... House needs a deep clean, mildew and cobwebs visible in lots of rooms. There's a home being built right in front of this one, so it's view of the beach/ocean is now obstructed. I'd recommend some updated pictures. If the property re-rents and generates the equivalent revenue, we will refund your advance rental payment, minus a Cancellation Fee of 10% of the published rate.
For reservations booked within 30 days of arrival: You may cancel, change dates, or switch properties on the same day of the booking.
